MY STYLE FIX: FLORAL STRIPES COMBO

Sometimes when done correctly taking a chance and pairing the most unlikely patterns and prints can be a marriage made in fashion heaven.
Alone, both florals and stripes are vibrant spring patterns. However, to achieve a cohesive look when pairing the two, opt for a neutral stripe that's guaranteed to match any floral print you may choose.

MY STYLE FIX: A CHECKED WOOL COAT

Oftentimes, outerwear is viewed as the part of an outfit that's strictly functional and practical when it comes to wintertime pairings.
That rationale is understandable as selecting a coat based primarily on its fashionable qualities may seem irrelevant when contending with snow showers, subpar temperatures, and less than optimal conditions.
However, choosing a piece that pulls double duty can not only keep you warm and enhance your overall look, but the old adage of when you look good, you feel good, also rings true even in the Polar Vortex.

MY STYLE FIX: WINTER OFF DUTY LOOK

Off-duty style especially in the winter often denotes your favorite pair of skinnies, an oversized sweater, and your most comfy flats.
However, should the opportunity present itself and Old Man Winter lets up a bit, go casual and opt for a loose fit or drop-waist dress for a perfect alternative to your standard off-duty uniform.

MY STYLE FIX: WINTER WEEKEND LOOK

When it comes to pairings, the weekends are all about styling some of your favorite Closet staples to achieve looks that are comfortable.
Pairing cozy separates is the key to a weekend winter ready laid-back look that's a far cry from the structured outfits worn during the week.
To complete the no fuss ensemble trade in your 5 inch pointy toe pumps or whatever stilettos you're tied to during the week for flats.
So, whether running errands, shopping, or kicking back with friends this relaxed look is sure to be a weekend off-duty style that's a hit.
