MY STYLE FIX: WINTER OFF DUTY LOOK

Off-duty style especially in the winter often denotes your favorite pair of skinnies, an oversized sweater, and your most comfy flats.
However, should the opportunity present itself and Old Man Winter lets up a bit, go casual and opt for a loose fit or drop-waist dress for a perfect alternative to your standard off-duty uniform.

Everyday style can be filled with a lot of frill and way too much fuss, but the weekend is the best time to keep it casual, comfy, and cool.
Without the stuffy restrictions of your daily fashion routine, this is the perfect time to choose a pairing that has a cozy chic relaxed vibe.

MY STYLE FIX: LEOPARD PRINT DRESS

Happy Thursday! So, the other day I attended an event for Naughty Monkey in NYC where they previewed their Fall collection. Right away, I decided to wear this leopard print dress, paired with gladiator pumps.
Before I headed out I wanted a second opinion on my look so, I asked my BF who as well as my reluctant photographer also doubles as impromptu fashion expert/stylist. Trust me, he's just as thrilled about that role as you might think.
Now, instead of attempting to rip the dress off me, because you know, in my mind at best I looked like a sexy Wilma Flintstone. I wanna say Jane, but that bitch had no class, but I digress.
Instead of trying to get it in, if you're picking up what I'm putting down, he damn near recoiled as if I was a rabid flea infested leopard.
The look on his face said it all, but the words "that's a whole lot of leopard print", brought it home, and I immediately had to pick my bruised ego up off the floor.
I couldn't believe he didn't like it. So, of course, I spent the next 15 minutes with an attitude trying to convince him why this dress should've given him a stiff boner, because leopard print is everything.
When that didn't work, I immediately discredited him, and threw the fact that on occasion he's the same person who without any threat to his life, will wear sandals with socks, outside.
Needless to say I brushed off his comments, and wore the dress any way.
Enjoy your day! Thanks for stopping by<3
