Dressing for New York Fashion Week (NYFW) where often times you're running straight from day to night events, isn't without its challenges, especially since we're smack dab in the throws of a deep freeze where Old Man Winter is no stranger to having his way with us.
Clearly, under such circumstances, common sense would suggest that clothing and plenty of it is necessary to avert Old Man Winter's unwanted advances. But, the prospect of going to a party in God forbid a sweater or leggings, is enough for me to throw caution to the wind and leave my house looking like a hooker.
So, just like Trixie on the tracks, sans pants or proper footwear I pounded the pavement and braved the cold as I headed to the first event to commence my NYFW, the Independent Fashion Blogger's Conference (IFBCON).
It was a great time where I listened to awesome speakers, learned some things, caught up with old friends, made new ones, and rounded it all out with a few cocktails to warm up my undressed ass before I hit the mean streets and headed home. Enjoy your day. Have a great weekend!
