MY STYLE FIX: FUR VEST & SNEAKERS

I spend a lot of time running around, and I use that term very loosely, because what I do is more akin to hobbling ever so painfully, and often in utter disgrace at my lack of grace in heels that certainly weren't made for walking or any type of movement that requires putting one foot in front of the other.
Call me slow as I've been in this shoe game for more years than I care to admit or own up to, but I just haven't mastered the fine art of walking in heels without succumbing to the inevitable pain that accompanies anything 5 inches and up.
So, in my down time, I choose comfort and reach for my wedge sneakers instead of spending my time off perpetrating a fraud and pretending that my dogs aren't barking in stilettos when clearly they've died, as the loss of feeling in 6 out of 10 toes can only signify nothing less.
I don't have time for that, at least on my down time that is, because any other time I would opt to chop those little piggies off if it meant squeezing into some sky high red bottoms also known as self esteem in a box.
Nevertheless, don't get me wrong, comfort isn't synonymous with frumpy or God forbid flats. Thanks to the ingenious wedge heel sneaker like these really cute pair by Daddy's Money I can still maintain my style and that height without jeopardizing my neck or sacrificing my pinky toes. Such a win win!
Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your day<3

MY STYLE FIX: WINTER COLOR BURST

Every year I feel the need to make the obligatory New Years resolution, only to fall right back into my old ways of scarfing down way too many carbs like my life depended on it.
Every year I make promises and vow to kill my bastard foodbaby once and for all with hours upon hours of intense exercise only to revert back to my old ways of laying around like it's my job.
For a moment which is always so fleeting, I usually manage to keep up the farce with my good intentions of getting healthy and toned enough to rock out in a two piece, instead of the mandatory one piece that I have been relegated to as a result of my greed.
Every year I try to make a change, to be a better version of myself all while failing miserably, one delicious cupcake at time.
So, to hell with all that shit, because the downward spiral into the throws of depression and self-loathing that generally accompanies such an epic failure is for the birds, and by God I'm no fucking bird!
I eat birds, like duck and chicken drenched in rich butter base sauces that attack my hips like a heat seeking missile, but I'm happy because my conscience is clean. I made no resolution of celibacy and broke no promises.
Enjoy your day! Thanks for stopping by<3

MY STYLE FIX: SPIKY WEDGE SNEAKERS

Happy Tuesday! I've never been a sneaks type of girl. I much prefer to punish myself in stilettos, pointy toe shoes, and heels up to there.
Certainly they're comfortable and that should count for something. But, who needs comfort when you can have extra height, and a sick tush lift.
I mean unless you're training for the Olympics or trying to escape from the likes of Michael Myers or some other deranged psycho killer, sneaks just don't make sense in normal everyday life.
At least that's what I used to think until some genius or mad scientist came up with a way to make sneaks that give you some serious height ala a wedge heel, all while maintaing the comforts of a sneak.
If you ask me it's like the eight wonder of the world. And that dude who hatched this little plan should be given the keys to cities because wedge heel sneakers are now my go to kicks for hanging out.
So, this weekend I paired mine with skinnies, a sweater, coat, scarf, and I easily went from place to place without even a peep from my pinky toe. Enjoy your day! Thanks for stopping by<3
