MY STYLE FIX: THE MOTO JACKET LOOK

With an abundance of pastels and pretty ladylike silhouettes, spring fashion is often skewed toward all things girly and uber feminine.
However, by incorporating the classic leather motorcycle jacket into your wardrobe, this Closet staple is guaranteed to break up the fashion monotony and add some much needed edge into your spring style.

MY STYLE FIX: A CROP JACKET MOMENT

The crop jacket is a short but sweet take on the classic spring jacket that's a fab alternative to the longer traditional style.
Generally cropped at the natural waist, this shrunken style can be found in variety of fabrics, patterns, and prints.
Although shorter in design, the crop jacket still packs all the fashion punch of its full length counterpart while serving as a chic Closet staple update to any fashionista's spring wardrobe.

MY STYLE FIX: THE TARTAN MINI SKIRT

Whether paired with tights or if you're brave enough to go without, mini skirts are still a viable option during the cooler months.
Choosing fall ready textures and patterns like tartan will definitely ensure that this Closet staple stays relevant all year round.

MY STYLE FIX: THE BOYFRIEND KHAKIS

More often than not fashion trends can be anything but comfortable resulting in bunching and clinging in places that not even the most luxurious fabrics should go.
Fortunately, every so often, something ingenious come along like boyfriend khakis which embodies all that is holy, style and comfort.

MY STYLE FIX: THE FALL BIKER JACKET

When it comes to fall outerwear, biker jackets AKA moto jackets have the market covered on cool girl style. Not surprisingly, with all the great options available now, the status quo has been preserved.
The versatility of this Closet staple make it one of my personal favorites as it effortlessly adds the right amount of edge to any look.

MY STYLE FIX: SPRING LEATHER MOTO

I've had this +Urban Outfitters leather moto jacket for a while now and the fact that it's not in the back of my closet where all my purchasing mistakes go to die, is a testament to the classic staple that it is.
Whatever I paid for this beauty a few years back is definitely paying off in spades, unlike that stellar college education from which I'm yet to receive any dividends.
The truth of the matter is, this was an investment piece which has stood the test of time and has held up well, unlike that same stellar college education from which I have retained nothing.
Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your day<3

MY STYLE FIX: SPRING FLORAL TREND

Spring is a few days away, yet, you would have no idea in the Northeast, if it wasn't for all the displays of bright colors and floral patterns, which truth be told, at times can trigger a wicked gag reflex, especially when worn head to toe.
Nevertheless, in an open act of defiance, I like everybody else opt to wear these overt homage to spring when judging from the fresh snow dusting the streets, only a virgin sacrifice will be a worthy tribute to incite any rise in temperature let alone spring.
Since murder despite the reason is illegal, hopefully Mother Nature takes pity on us and reward our collective overzealous enthusiasm for all things spring with beautiful flowers.

MY STYLE FIX: FAUX FUR & PINK DRESS

I'm pretty sure this may have been the only time all season where  sweaty coochie be damned I wore tights.
During New York Fashion Week (NYFW) I had to travel all over the City to attend various runway shows and needless to say, the notion of freezing my exposed arse off did not appeal to me.
I'm pretty sure that tending to a frozen vagina would've distracted from the goings on on the runway so, I covered up to thwart the deep freeze.
Surprisingly, the sweaty scenario that I anticipated didn't come to fruition and I managed to stay warm and dry. Thank God for tiny miracles.
Have a great weekend! Thanks for dropping by<3

MY STYLE FIX: WOOL CAPE & SKINNIES

The BF would contend that I recently fell ill due to wearing these open toe heels in inclement weather, which is clearly a feeble attempt to deflect from his role as outbreak monkey in the whole melodrama.
Certainly his argument would've been legitimate had he not spent days laying in bed oscillating from sweating to shivering, and coughing up shit that would rival any fur ball our Fluffy could ever produce.
And, in the midst of it all doing my best Florence Nightingale impression trying to nurse my Boo back to health, it was only a matter of time before I too was infected with the plague.
Between the snotty tissues and airborne germs released via the constant coughing and relentless ah-choos, nothing short of a hazmat suit could've prevented what was in hindsight inevitable.
As I was exposed to the bug for days before I attended the Diane von Furstenberg x Roxy Collection launch party in this get up, I'm pretty sure the virus was incubating waiting for the right moment to attack and ravish my body.
The shoes although open toe played no part in the sickness that was to follow, and was solely guilty of giving me a lift when I needed one. Enjoy your day! Thanks for stopping by<3

MY STYLE FIX: TUXEDO STRIPE DENIM

I'm aware that there are two times when white denim should not be worn for obvious reasons, when it's raining or when Aunt Flow is in town.
Well, the latter isn't scheduled to visit for another few weeks, but it damn sure was raining when I decided to break the cardinal rule and wear white to what could've been to my own detriment.
I can't say it was the smartest thing for me to do considering I was attending an event in New York City, and even under the most ideal of conditions that place is far from pristine let alone clean.
But even knowing the risk, I took a chance dodging puddle after puddle until I got to my destination unscathed and spared from the embarrassment of an unwanted Dalmatian transformation.
Enjoy your day! Thanks for stopping by<3
