MY STYLE FIX: SASSY WINTER LEATHER

It's a fact that wearing leather year round is most definitely stylish, but not always practical, especially during the warmer months.
However, with cooler temperatures in the wintertime, it's the perfect season to unleash your wild side and embrace this rock girl chic look.

MY STYLE FIX: GIRLY ROCKER FLARE

Wearing skirts and high heels doesn't mean that you're some dainty delicate flower whose favorite color is some variation of pink.
It only denotes that crossing your legs is a must, and that's only if you have qualms about showing your moneymaker to the world.
Nowadays skirts aren't just meant for those pink loving girly girls, whose lives are in shambles should they break a nail or lose a curl.
When paired with relaxed, casual, masculine pieces, this feminine skirt would be something that even Joe Polniaczek would be proud to wear.

MY STYLE FIX: SUMMERY MINIMALISM

Subsequent to the July 4 holiday, which is just another excuse for the entire nation, myself included, to binge eat, it's not surprising that I'd opt for darker clothing strictly for their slimming effects.
Having inhaled my weight in hotdogs and hamburgers on July 4, there was no way I'd wear anything that didn't offer some forgiveness.
I definitely wouldn't wear any pieces that didn't hide or camouflage the result of my gluttony, so I went with all grey everything.

MY STYLE FIX: HOT SUMMER TROPICS

I have to admit, since summer started, I've neglected skinnies in favor of lightweight bottoms that give my lady parts a chance to breathe.
Certainly, once my body acclimates to the heat, I'll go back to full coverage. However, until then, I'll wear pieces with a loose-fit that won't cling to my body, and promote perspiration in private areas.
As soon as I adapt to the heat, I'll go back to form-fitting, so tight that I can barely breathe denim, like I'm accustomed to wearing.
At any rate, subsequent to that occurring, I'll opt for more easy breezy pieces with appropriate ventilation.

MY STYLE FIX: DENIM JACKET & FUR

So, I got dressed feeling half way descent until the BF in a very dejected, dare I say disappointed tone asked if I was going to wear those shoes again.
After I picked up what was left of my self esteem, I managed to muster up my most hateful side-eye, in lieu of the neck chop that I should've doled out in light of such an implicit criticism.
Now, I understand that as the photographer he may want a little variety, especially when truth be told, he would much rather spend his time scratching than watching me do a bad impersonation of a supermodel.
I get it. Certainly the variety would at best distract from my forced smiles and the awkward poses. However, after all this time, I thought he would be used to my predilection to re-work and re-wear my favorite pieces.
Besides, if my repetition offends, he can always resort to donations of the monetary kind. That would certainly guarantee a few more pieces in the rotation.
Enjoy your weekend! Thanks for dropping by<3

MY STYLE FIX: LEATHER MINI DRESS

Let me be the first to say that like Michelle Obama, Anna Wintour, and Kate Middleton, I too don't have any qualms about repeating an outfit as long it's cleaned accordingly, and bares no evidence of the drunken debauchery that went down.
If it's good enough for those highfalutin broads with their disposable incomes and designers at their beck and call, it damn sure is good enough for my broke, struggling, barely making the rent, robbing Peter to pay Paul ass.
Although I would love to be draped in a brand new couture gown and dripping in diamonds every time I left my house, that shit will never happen even if I took up residence on the local corner or purposely by accident leaked my own sex tape, as the girth of my backside certainly doesn't command millions.

As such, by default, I'm left with making the best of what I got, which often means that things will be repeated, and worn within an inch of their lives in many cases, like this little number that made an appearance at many holiday parties and events last month.
The point is there's no shame in my game as there's no sugar daddy in my life. Until then, I'll continue to focus on whether the outfit I'm wearing looks good on me as opposed to whether it's brand new.
