MY STYLE FIX: SUMMER BOAT SHOES

A pair of closed toe summer shoes is a must especially on those days when exposing your feet to the world is nothing short of offensive.
Unfortunately, maintaining your feet in the summer isn't always possible, but a cute pair of shoes will certainly hide your shame.

MY STYLE FIX: SUMMER ROCK & ROLL

Leather and denim are two of my favorite closet staples. When paired together they give off a rocker vibe sans the benefits of all the raunchy sex and mind numbing quaaludes.
Regrettably, depending on your predilection for frequent visits        to your gyno or rehab, those perks aren't included. Yet, that         omission doesn't make this pairing any less rock and roll, albeit     on the sober side.

MY STYLE FIX: ANIMAL PRINT CUTOFFS

No matter the season, animal print is always a good idea unless it's of the real variety, then it should be off limits.
All imitations and replicas of the faux variety are always welcomed in my closet. That way, fluffy is unharmed and free to roam the jungle.

MY STYLE FIX: LITTLE PRINTED DRESS

Wearing this little pink A-line printed dress easily communicate to the world that I'm sweet as pie, as opposed to an oversexed streetwalker, which my summer staple booty cutoffs may suggest.
Now, to be fair, in my case, the latter may not be entirely off base. However, I have no desire to be boxed in by my clothing choices. So, I opt to diversify my closet, wear what I want, and keep them guessing.

MY STYLE FIX: HIGH-WAIST CUTOFFS

High-waist shorts are a must as they accentuate your narrow waistline and conceal that wretched muffin top, which in my case may actually be the entire muffin.
What's more, high-waist shorts create a long and lean frame albeit an illusion, but I'll take any help I can get, since the whole notion of healthy eating escapes me, and diet is a four letter word.
Until I can get it together and give up carbs, booze, and everything that's so good but so bad for your midsection, I'll opt for the stylish alternative to liposuction, as exercise is an eight letter word.

MY STYLE FIX: SUMMERY MINIMALISM

Subsequent to the July 4 holiday, which is just another excuse for the entire nation, myself included, to binge eat, it's not surprising that I'd opt for darker clothing strictly for their slimming effects.
Having inhaled my weight in hotdogs and hamburgers on July 4, there was no way I'd wear anything that didn't offer some forgiveness.
I definitely wouldn't wear any pieces that didn't hide or camouflage the result of my gluttony, so I went with all grey everything.

MY STYLE FIX: SILKY YELLOW DRESS

If you don't have a doting sugar daddy, you, like myself, appreciate clothing that can pull double duty, and be worn in many different ways.
This dress does just that and allows me to diversify my outfits without having to spend what I don't have on more things that I don't need.
By adding a belt and changing a few accessories, I was able to achieve a new look, different from the one seen here, without going broke.

MY STYLE FIX: HOT SUMMER TROPICS

I have to admit, since summer started, I've neglected skinnies in favor of lightweight bottoms that give my lady parts a chance to breathe.
Certainly, once my body acclimates to the heat, I'll go back to full coverage. However, until then, I'll wear pieces with a loose-fit that won't cling to my body, and promote perspiration in private areas.
As soon as I adapt to the heat, I'll go back to form-fitting, so tight that I can barely breathe denim, like I'm accustomed to wearing.
At any rate, subsequent to that occurring, I'll opt for more easy breezy pieces with appropriate ventilation.

MY STYLE FIX: GLADIATOR SANDALS

Summer is the time to lose those hammertoe causing, neck breaking, ankle twisting contraptions, which we love to hate known as high heels.
In the summer, heels should take a backseat to flat sandals, unless you're the kind of girl who wears stilettos to the beach or platforms on hikes, which by the way reveals some type of sickness.

Summer is all about fun. It's a time reserved for adventures, which can be seriously compromised if you're hobbling around in five inch heels.

This summer, I choose to free my pinky toes from the shackles of oppression, or leather straps depending on the shoe style.
For the next few weeks, I'll wear flat sandals, and I'll enjoy whatever adventures come my way without any painful restrictions.
