MY STYLE FIX: SUMMER JUMPSUIT LOVE

On a daily basis mixing and matching your favorite Closet staples to put together an awesome fashionable outfit can be challenging.
Luckily for fashionistas, the jumpsuit is a one piece solution that makes answering the question of what do I wear today a bit easier.

MY STYLE FIX: CROP TOP TIME OF YEAR

Perfect for rocking during the warmer months, the midriff baring crop top is a cute spring trend that may seem hard to style and pull off.
However, when styling this trend, playing with proportions and opting to pair the top with a higher waist bottom is guaranteed to minimize your exposure and strike a balance that's chic and right on trend.

MY STYLE FIX: BOYFRIEND JEANS LOOK

The menswear inspired boyfriend jean is a fab alternative to skinnies. However, the loose fit and often slouchy silhouette can be a bit tricky to pull off if it's not paired with the right pieces.
To flawlessly execute this trend be sure to balance the masculine feel of this Closet staple by pairing boyfriend jeans with soft feminine pieces such as a pair of heels and a girly top for a stylish look.

MY STYLE FIX: MINTY TULIP MINI SKIRT

The idea of adding volume to your frame is terrifying, and to many the mere act may seem symptomatic of a deeper underlying psychosis.
Yet, in some rare cases as seen in the tulip skirt phenomenon, defying all rhyme and reason, the extra draping can actually be flattering.

MY STYLE FIX: PRETTY GAP FLOWERS

Going casual doesn't have to mean schlepping around like a hobo in clothes that's more suitable for the trash than on the back of any man.
It also doesn't denote being one step removed from donning a sparkly dress. A simple pair of khaki shorts and a blouse will suffice.

MY STYLE FIX: HIGH-WAISTED SHORTS

High-waisted shorts are flattering, leading people to think that even the most vertically challenged person has legs that go on for days.
Accenting your tiny waist and the above are a few of the many perks of this trend, living with misleading trusting people notwithstanding.

MY STYLE FIX: LITTLE FLORAL DRESS

Staying as cool as possible during the summer months, along with gorging myself on all things barbecue is my goal for the summer.
Wearing loose-fitting clothing like this drop-waist dress, easily satisfies the former all while leaving space for the obvious food baby that all the BBQ will spawn.
Unless you have a sexually deviant desire to suffocate and overheat your lady parts, easy breezy is definitely the key when it comes to summer style.
I for one harbor no such fantasies beyond the privacy of my boudoir notwithstanding, and I dress accordingly to avoid sweating profusely.

MY STYLE FIX: BRIGHT KHAKI SHORTS

I haven't found a pair of shorts that I didn't like, booty cleavage exposing, camel toe revealing notwithstanding.
I'll leave that type of gratuitous overexposure to the ladies of the night, and opt for more modest coverage for my lady parts.
Thankfully, I recently scored this bright orange Gap beauty that perfectly covers all my bases.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend<3

MY STYLE FIX: FLORAL & GINGHAM MIX

If I had a 6 pack as opposed to the one pack, damn near bulging beer belly that I currently sport, you'd be nauseated to boredom at the plethora of skin baring midriff crop tops I'd proudly wear 24/7.
However, until that glorious day when rock solid abs and my name can be used interchangeably is upon us, I'll stick to exposing areas of my body that at the moment won't bring any shame and disgrace to my name.
So, since my appetite for carbs and all that is unholy, but seriously so good has yet to subside, shorts and high-heels will remain my uniform until the inevitable day when those fat deposits move further south and invade that sovereign region.

MY STYLE FIX: THE LITTLE LACE DRESS

I don't always have the luxury to ruminate over what I'm going to wear as there are often far more pressing first world issues at hand, such as deciding what I'm going to eat or drink once I don said outfit.
Obviously, it's a difficult life filled with the stresses of deciding how I'm going to satisfy my superficial needs from day to day. So, anything that offset those woes are always welcomed.
I find that having a go-to dress like this lace beauty, which reliably looks good on me no matter how many food babies I've spawned, definitely lightens my burden and takes the edge off.

MY STYLE FIX: FLORAL TRENCH COAT

You can't go wrong with a Closet staple, unlike certain trends, which once acquired, in hindsight seriously made me question my sanity.
I mean after the sheer embarrassment and dry heaving has subsided from the sight of some of the on trend pieces that I've amassed over the years, the regret sets in and I realize the error of my ways.
In my defense, half the time it's not my fault. It's hard not to succumb to the images of freakishly perfect models styled in the latest or hottest whatever of the moment, which clearly fits like a glove.
Yet, on me, the same piece looks like something Anna Wintour
wiped off the bottom of her shoe. However, with a staple item
like this trenchcoat, there's no worries of a shitty fitting,
as miraculously, they look amazing on every body.
