MY STYLE FIX: THE STRIPED DRESS

So, this weekend I didn't don a fancy Easter hat, you know the ones with the oversized bows and bright colored ribbons. I threw up a little bit in my mouth just thinking about it, but I digress. I didn't find some floral outfit concoction or overdose on a head to toe pastel number to signify the holiday weekend. Sorry to disappoint you, but I did none of that. Now that I think about it, it almost seems sacrilegious not to, and it'll probably be really hot where I'm going to end up as a result.
I mean just look at the facts. Instead of a nice Easter egg hunt, my weekend consisted of an impromptu spur of the moment girls night out, which btw ended with one of us, not me, barfing everywhere:) You know that had to be a good time, and it was. Instead of going all out in my Sundays best to Easter service, I went in a completely different direction. On Easter Sunday I was super casual in a comfy striped dress, cargo jacket, scarf, and flats, for what was supposed to be brunch, but actually turned into an early dinner due to complete sloth on my part.
It was a beautiful day, but clearly I may have earned myself a one way ticket to eternal damnation. If I hear correctly every little bit counts, and this blatant divergent act is most definitely a strike. I really hope you made better choices and behaved appropriately this holiday weekend. Surely, I welcome some company in that place, which I'm not even gonna utter, but you get the picture. It's hot there. We could take turns fanning each other, but I don't wish that for you.
At least the week is anew and if you didn't comply and went rouge as I did we both have another opportunity to make tallies in the right column. Have a great Monday!

  1. Hi! I just found your blog via Pinterest. I love this look. I almost ordered this dress last night actually but decided against it at the last minute. Now I'm kicking myself!

    1. Omg!! I hate it when that happens! It may not be too late though. If there's a F21 in your area you should definitely check it out. They may have it in stock. When I bought this dress a few days ago they had a few left in this color as well as pink. I may actually go back for the pink one. It's super comfy and it's under $10. You cant's beat that! Thanks for stopping by Samantha<3

    2. Sadly there is not so I'm forced to buy online. I may still have to get it though, which will mean I'll have to find enough items to make up for free shipping :)

    1. Thanks Chica! I really appreciate your comment. It's so funny because sometimes I see really awesome blogs, but the pieces are either ridiculously unattainable or just not practical especially for everyday wear. I really wanted to show everyday styles that real people actually wear. I'm so glad that you connect with that. Thanks for stopping by<3
